These guys made up the non-Afro half of At The Drive In, so permit me to take the lazy way out with a head-to-head comparison. Whereas ATDI was all angsty screamo, Sparta splits the difference between aggressive and accessible. (Read: They're slightly less original.) That said, the sound is pretty dang similar, and if you like one, you'll probably like the other.
