This afternoon, as I was driving to my second movie, I was thinking about just how good "BFC" is. I decided that everyone should see it, and that if they did, a few of them might stop hiding behind the Constitution. A few more might start questioning the crap we're being spoon fed.

I mean, am I the only one who forgot that right after Columbine, Heston flew to Denver and held an NRA rally? And that he did the same thing in Flint after a 6-year-old boy shot and killed his classmate there? I don't even know how to respond to that. Obviously, people are showing up at these rallies. But who? Isn't it impossible to believe that there are more of them than us? I was thinking all this while driving, and I was getting *so* worked up.

Then — and I kid you not — I turn onto Clark St., and I end up right behind a car with two bumper stickers. The first says, "Charlton Heston is my president." And below that, the Confederate flag.

*sigh*

Perhaps it'll take more than Moore to change things.
